The AI meeting platform that actually understands Arabic.

Maglis joins your Zoom, Meet, or Teams call, transcribes with full dialect and code-switch awareness, and delivers the document you actually need — minutes, action items, or a proposal — drafted in correct Arabic or English, ready to send.

01 · The problem

Arabic-speaking professionals are running businesses in a language no software speaks.

Granola, Otter, Fireflies, HoneyBook, Bonsai — all built for English-speaking knowledge workers. None survive a discovery call that switches between عربي and English mid-sentence — which is what every business call in the Gulf, Levant, Egypt, and Maghreb actually sounds like.

So bilingual professionals do what they've always done: take notes by hand, retype follow-ups in two languages, and rebuild every proposal from scratch. The category exists. The language doesn't.

02 · How it works

Four steps. One workflow.

01

The bot joins

Drop a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams link. Maglis joins on time, announces itself transparently, and stays for the whole call.

02

Bilingual transcription

Captures Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, and Maghrebi Arabic alongside English — with mid-sentence code-switching intact.

03

Auto-classification

Claude identifies the meeting type — discovery, status update, decision, sync — and selects the right artifact: minutes, action items, or proposal.

04

The document arrives

Drafted in the call's dominant language. Edit on web, review on mobile, send by email, share link, or OS share sheet. PDF on demand.

03 · The difference

Other tools transcribe. Maglis delivers the document.

Granola, Otter, Fireflies — they hand you a transcript in English. You still have to write the proposal, draft the follow-up, formalize the minutes. Maglis writes them for you, in the language your client actually reads.

Arabic-native, not translated

Trained on dialect, register, and bilingual business etiquette. Maglis writes a proposal in Arabic the way an experienced consultant would — not a machine translation of an English template.

Code-switch fluent

Most MENA business calls flip between Arabic and English mid-sentence. Maglis preserves the switch, attributes correctly, and writes the artifact in the call's dominant language.

RTL by architecture

Right-to-left isn't a polish pass. Every layout, typography decision, and document export is built with RTL as a first-class citizen.

MENA-aware defaults

Currency, date formats, business etiquette, payment infrastructure, legal language — defaults that match how business actually runs from Cairo to Riyadh.

The artifact, not the transcript

You don't ship transcripts to clients. You ship documents. Minutes, action items, and proposals — drafted, formatted, and ready to send.

Built for the call you actually had

The AI auto-classifies the meeting type and produces the right artifact by default. One click regenerates as something else if you disagree.

06 · Questions

The straight answers.

Which dialects does Maglis support?

Modern Standard Arabic plus Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, and Maghrebi dialects. Code-switching with English is preserved natively. Other languages are on the roadmap, prioritized by customer demand.

Is the bot transparent on the call?

Yes. The bot announces itself in chat when it joins and is visible to all participants. Built that way deliberately — MENA's legal landscape on consent is mixed, and full transparency is the right default for trust.

Where is my data stored?

Frankfurt (eu-central-1) at launch. UAE (me-central-1) when our first KSA design partner asks. Encrypted at rest, isolated per organization, with a full append-only audit trail.

What about Zoom / Meet / Teams support?

All three at launch. The bot uses Recall.ai under the hood, so any conferencing platform Recall covers, Maglis covers.

Can I edit the document after it's drafted?

Yes. Web is for creation and editing; mobile is for review and approval. Every change is tracked, and you can regenerate any artifact as a different type with one click.

What's not in v1?

E-signature, payment collection, and a public API are deferred. We're focused on getting the core artifact loop perfect first — proposals, minutes, action items — for the people who need them most.
